Adapter set for H4 Headlights from 9004 Vanagon Bulb

If you want to add H4 headlights to your later model Vanagon, one of the problems is that the plug that your van has now is a "D" shaped plug that is for the 9004 bulb.  This is true of all of the Vanagons from 86-92 that had the square headlights.  You may be changing to the South African Grill kit with an outer H4 round light.  Or you may be upgrading to the new square H4 headlights that are being made.  Normally you would have to buy a pair of new H4 plugs and then cut off your old plug, and splice on the new plug.  This isn't that big of a deal if you have the proper tools and some skill in making eletrical connections.  However a better option would be to just plug in this conversion harness and get the same result.  No fuss, no muss, and you are done in a few seconds.  You can always reverse what you have done if you wish to go back to original (like if you are planning to sell the van, but want to keep your upgraded lights for your next van, etc.).  Just unplug and put the old lights back.

This set of plugs will make that upgrade much more plug and play.  You plug the blue plug into your existing wiring harness and the other three prong plug into your new lights and you are done.  You are buying a pair of these plugs so they will do both outer headlights on your van.  Why not make this switch as simple and easy as possible?
