Clutch Kit for 73-75 VW Bus and 83 Vanagon only 215mm

Clutch Kit for 83 Vanagon only 215mm and also 3/73 to 75 VW Bus The clutch kit is for 83 1.9L Waterboxer Vanagons with a manufacture date of 3/83 or lower. These vans had a 215mm clutch. For some reason VW reached into it's dusty parts bin for this clutch kit.  They grabbed some old flywheels they had left over from the early AC pancake engine days.  So we get this clutch kit that works with 74-75 Bus and then a few months of early 1.9l waterboxer. If you have an 83 waterboxer, you should measure your clutch disc to be sure you are ordering the correct size clutch.  215mm is this oddball size.  The standard size that VW used one most every year was 228mm.

UPDATE: If you have a 73-75 Bus you should measure your clutch disc.  There was also a 210mm version of this clutch.  So you really need to measure the clutch disc before ordering.  If you just guess and get the wrong clutch, I will have to charge for additional shipping.
