Coolant Expansion Tank for 84-85 1.9l and 84-91 Diesel Vanagon

This is the coolant tank that is pressurized and it comes with a new cap. It is for 84-85 1.9l Vanagon and you can retrofit it to an 83.5 1.9l waterboxer if you are retrofitting the coolant hoses as well. It is also the tank for the 84-91 Diesel Vanagon. If you have the 068121405D (83.5 1.9l waterboxer) and don't want to have to fabricate anything to get this tank to mount, then you are better off buying the same part number tank that you have. This tank will work with the 83-84 Diesel Vanagon, however it may need a mount for it fabricated if your old tank was the 068121405D. If you have a 82-84 Diesel Vanagon that was manufactured before 4/83 then you need the older style expansion tank number 068121405D. Does not come with a level sensor.
