Coolant Hose Kit for 1.9l Vanagon with plastic coolant pipes

This is coolant hose kit for the 1.9l Vanagon.  It is made for the Vanagon that has the long plastic pipes (late 85).  That means that the pipes are 1 and 1/2 inches in diameter.  If you have the original metal pipes (83.5-85) this kit will also work but you will need adapters (that we also sell) because the metal pipes were 1 and 1/4 inches in diameter.  Please check this when you are ordering.  If your pipes are black steel then they are the early version.  If they are white/yellow plastic then they are the later version.  Of course your pipes may have been replaced with stainless steel aftermarket long pipes as well.  In that case you should just measure the diameter to see what you have.  Here is a list of the hoses that are included:

The kit doesn't include the transmission cooler hoses if you have an automatic transmission.  It also doesn't include the long hoses for the heater system that runs to the front heater core, or the hoses that go from the rear heater core Ts to the rear heater core.  Those are all available, but I just do include them in the kit.
