Flywheel for 76-79 VW Bus, 80-83 Air Cooled Vanagon, and all Waterboxer Vanagon with 228mm flywheel.

This is a 228mm Flywheel.  This is brand new made by JP Group and it comes with the three roll pins installed. 

This flywheel began to be used in the 76 VW Bus and was really used from then on to 92 in the Bus and Vanagon. 

EXCEPT for a short period of time in 1983 when VW,  for no apparent reason, sold a few 1.9l waterboxer Vanagons with a 215mm flywheel for a few months.  So if you have an 83 1.9l waterboxer, you need to measure your old clutch to be sure this one is going to work for you.  All of the rest should be fine.
