The Vanagon fuel system uses a long hard plastic line to go from the fuel pump to the engine bay (supply side), and also from the engine bay back to the tank (return side). 
The Vanagon fuel system uses a long hard plastic line to go from the fuel pump to the engine bay (supply side), and also from the engine bay back to the tank (return side). This plastic line has been there around 30 to 40 years and has most likely never been replaced. If you are refurbishing your Vanagon, or if you have any leaks in these plastic lines, but advice would be to replace them completely so that you can have peace of mind. This kit does both the feed and return side of plastic fuel lines.
