Liqui Moly SAE 75W-90 Synthetic (1 Liter) GL4/GL5

Liqui Moly SAE 75W-90 Synthetic (1 Liter) GL4/GL5 The Bus and Vanagon manual transmission requires GL4 rated gear oil. Some GL5 rated oils are also rated GL4 but not all of them. So unless you see GL4 on the bottom somewhere, you should not use it in your Vanagon transmission as it can damage the internal parts over time. I took the guess work out but just having this high quality oil available on the site if you need it. (3.7 quarts required for Air-cooled Trans, 3.2 quarts for 2wd Waterboxers, 4.2 quarts for diesel and Syncro)
