LUK Clutch Kit (Syncro too) Vanagon (Not Diesel)

LUK Clutch Kit (Syncro too) Vanagon, also used on 76-79 VW Bus. Clutch Kit for all Vanagon except diesel.  Includes clutch disc, pressure plate, Throw out bearing, pilot bearing and alignment tool. These kits are made by LUK in Germany and are the same as you would buy from the VW Dealer. If you want a true German clutch for your Vanagon then the LUK kit is for you. Some Vanagons had Sachs clutch kits and some had LUK from the factory.  There doesn't seem to be much rhyme or reason to why they would use one over the other.  However the LUK kits are beefier than the Sachs so if you have a more powerful engine, I would go with the LUK kit.

This kit is the 228mm version (9 inch).  If your van is an 83-84 Vanagon you must measure your clutch disc to be sure this kit will work for you.  SOME 83-84 Vanagons had a 215mm clutch disc (8.5 inches).
