Rear Hatch Grommet tube for rear washer hose on all Vanagon

In the rear hatch of the Vanagon, there can be two tubes going between the body and the rear hatch.  This one is on the right side (passenger) and contains the washer hose for the rear washer and some wiring.  If your van doesn't have a rear washer, then it won't have this tube.  But if it does, you should inspect it, because these tubes are usually always rotted out and can allow water to get inside the rear hatch.  This can lead to the hatch rusting out at the bottom or arould the rear window seal.  This tube has round holes that are the same size on each end.  The other tube on the left side has oval holes in it and is a different part.  Here is a link to that one:
