Shift Lever for Vanagon 4-speed all Vanagon

This is a 14mm shift lever for all 4-speed manual Vanagon.  This is an aftermarket lever that is different from the original in that is it made of solid steel instead of hollow (original).  These are aftermarket, but they are well made in Germany.  If your old shifter has snapped off, and you need a replacement, this would be a perfect fit for you.  These are 14mm diameter, so if you have an early Vanagon you should measure your old shift lever to be sure what size you have.  Some early Vanagons use 12mm shift levers.  If you have one of those, this lever will work, but you would need to also replace your front shifter bushings as well.  We have a kit for that here:https://www.vanagain.com/product/shifter-rebuild-kit-for-80-91-manual-vanagon-syncro-too

If it were me, I would order this front shifter kit as well, that way everything is new in the front shifter.
