This is a brand new stub axle that will work with any 70-79 VW Bus, and all Vanagons except for Syncro 16" (if you don't know what that is, you don't have one). This is an OEM VW unit made in Brazil. It fits inside your rear wheel bearing housing and the CV Joint attaches to one end and the large wheel nut goes on the other end. If yours is worn then why not replace it with this brand new unit?
