B-Pillar Air Duct Seal in front Door Jamb all Vanagon

This oval vent is located on the rear edge of the front door.  It is located on either side on a passenger Vanagon.  It's purpose is to allow fresh air to be channeled to the rear of the van so that it can come out at the interior roof vents.  All passenger Vanagons will have these vents on both sides.  If you open the front door and look near where the door latches you should see an oval hole where this vent is located.  

NOTE: if you have a Westfalia, you will have one of these vents on the passenger side and nothing on the driver's side.  This is NORMAL.  There is no air passing through that side due to the cabinetry, so the air flow is blocked with a block off plate in the front door jamb.  

If you have a single cab or double cab, these vents should also not exist.  So if you think you need one or two of these because there is just a hole with nothing, please note that if it isn't a passenger van, it may have never had this.
