Distributor Parts Set with Hall Sender for 79-83.5 AC and WC Vanagon

This is the Hall Effect Sensor or Sender for 79 Bus and 80-85 Air-cooled (California) and 1.9l Vanagon waterboxer (electronic ignition, no points). This parts set lets your replace the hall sending unit in your old distributor. Hall sender included. Faulty Hall sender can cause a no spark condition. This unit is no longer available in Bosch. This is an aftermarket unit that seems to work just as well. No longer comes with snap rings, shims or lube seen in picture. Recently went to purchase this from our supplier that we have been buying for from years and the price has increased dramatically! Not sure why the price increased so much in a short amount of time. If it were me I would get the rebuilt distributor versus getting this for such a price and then rebuilding yours on your own. I am keeping it on here because there will always be those folks who need to do it themselves.
