H4 Outer Headlight Housing for 86-92 Vanagon- Left

Left means Driver's Side in the USA.  This is made for left hand drive vehicles.

This is a brand new outer headlight housing that is a replacment for the H4 headlights on a Vanagon.  Please understand that the Vanagons sold here in the USA had DOT headlight housings that uses the 9004 bulb.  This housing is the European version that uses the H4 bulb.  I comes with a H4 halogen bulb.  This looks the same as the DOT light housing from a distance but it is different.  The bulb is different, the lens of the light is different, and it is not just a plug and play install if you have the stock lights.  You will also need a wiring adapter to make this work.  I would also not recommend replacing just one of these lights.  It will be much brighter and look weird at night if you only replace one side of these.  If you already have the H4 lights, then this is a good replacement for one of those.  

NOTE: How can I tell what type of light housings I have?  The easiest way is to look at the center of the light.  On the DOT lights (not this one), it will have the word "Hella" made into the glass.  If it is this version which is H4 it will say "H4" in the center of the glass.  Please visually check this before ordering.  If you order the wrong one, and need to exchange it, you will have to absorb those costs.
