Vanagon Fuel Line Protection Sleeve. This is the grey plastic protective sleeve that goes over the fuel line in the engine bay of the water cooled Vanagon. VW originally had a plastic sleeve that covered the outside of the rubber fuel hose in the engine bay for the 1.9l and 2.1l waterboxer Vanagon. This old sleeve can be reused, but many times it has gotten hard with age and it can be difficult to reuse it. For several years this has been discontinued. We found a supplier that is making this again. The length you need for a Vanagon engine bay is 8 feet, so that is what we are selling an 8 foot length of this sleeving in a grey color (OE color of the later Vanagons). You just use the old sleeving as a guide and cut the new to the same length as the old.
