Air Conditioning System Blower Fan for 86-92 Vanagon

This is blower fan for the rear factory AC for all (86-921L) Vanagon with factory AC.  If you have the later version of the Air Conditioning system that was installed starting in 1986 with the two blower fans then this is what you need.  There are two fans back there, so if you are having problems with your fuses blowing or wiring getting extremely hot, then you will need to order two of these to replace what you have.  If you have an 86 Westy and are wondering if you have this later system, you can look at your switches on the dash.  Do you have two switches side by side over to the right of the radio?  This you have the newer style system.  If you have the double purpose single switch to the left of the steering column, you have the older version of the AC system which this fan WILL NOT work with.

These fans look similar to the dash blower fans but they are more powerful.  These are aftermarket versions of the OE style fan, but good quality.  The OEM German fans are no longer available.
